Mission :

Objectifs de la mission et tâches

Within the Application Technology Office team, the architect main missions are to:

Provide a General Architecture Design (GAD) document for every solution; Gather non-functional requirements (when missing) and ensure that the target architecture will be able to meet the functional and non-functional requirements (including performance).

Update GAD at every major evolution

Contribute on the Cloud Major migration program (scoping, estimation, scenarios definition, Design, followup).

Contribute on moving applications to the Cloud and leveraging Cloud new capabilities (ex. Serverless, Cloud managed services )

Deliver Building Permit and validate IT architecture through the Design Authority sessions

Co-lead RFI/RFP/POC on tools & technologies

Organize awareness sessions to spread new technologies

Maintain an Application Portfolio

Contribute and maintain a reference architecture (principles, patterns, rules, standards, tools, etc.)

Provide on demand support to the development teams

Design the Target Architecture (Application, Data, Integration, Infrastructure) for every solution that guarantee global consistency and seamless integration between all products

Proactively deal with Data Privacy & security topics; all solution should be, by design, compliant with security, legal & data privacy requirements

Contribute to the cost reduction by promoting reuse and by privileging simple architecture (e.g. standards, no/limited specifics, automation, standard patterns, ...)

Promote actively all Group standard and shared assets in AXA and in the entities

Perform regular market watch, instill new technologies and contribute to product innovation

Define / update regularly (e.g. yearly) Product roadmap and drive IT Refresh life cycle

Select tools and Technologies

Provide ad'hoc support to the products & developments teams

Cloud Architect have to works closely with:

Product Managers / Owners and be part of the Product Governance

to contribute in the definition of the product strategy

to select tools & technologies

to promote innovation and disruptive solution architecture

to propose appropriate design

to define IT Refresh roadmap

Group Technology Office team & forum

to promote new standards

to inform regularly about changes

to ensure alignments of all Products with operational entities requirements
